July 3rd Chris Thomas of Omniism invited ShaneOphoto to photograph their show at the Blue Bird Theater located on Colfax in Downtown Denver. The band drew a decent crowd and sounded great! If you like Rock, you will love Omniism. You can catch their next show August 7th at 8:00 PM at Localpalooza ’10 located in Civic Center Park (Denver, CO)
On May 13th Shinedown and Sick puppies preformed at the Ogden Theater in Denver Colorado. ShaneOphoto was invited to photograph this concert by Tatco Design. Despite the cold rainy day both bands drew a great crowd to the theater. Sick Puppies warmed up the crowd by opening with a high energy set that had the whole place on their feet. The lights came up, the crew quickly changed the stage, and the lights went back off. Shinedown then entered the stage preforming their song “Sound of Madness” from that moment the crowd was hooked!. They ended their set with their song “Second Chance” Over all it was a great experience to get into a venue with a press pass so that I could achieve more intimate images of both bands. Despite some equipment failure which caused me to have to prematurely stop photographing the concert I still managed to capture several great shots of both bands.
