Denver County Fair Freak Show

ShaneOphoto was given the opportunity by Mythica Von Griffyn to set up a booth at the first ever Denver County Fair. Being a master of quirky images, it was only fitting that my booth was located in The Freak Show! Thousands of intrigued fair goers made their way through The Freak Show and many stopped at the booth to be photographed on our original freak Show background painted by Colorado Artist Kery Allen. Here are some of the images I captured of our talent! I hope you enjoy them!

Nan Desu Kan Denver (NDK)

Saturday September 11th I was invited to attend, and photograph NDK which was held in the DTC Marriott. I was amazed at how many people were in attendance and even more so that safely 3/4 of those in attendance were in full costume. For my first NDK experience ever I have to say I had an absolute blast, and I don’t even like Anime! If you don’t have any plans for next year, make your reservation to attend NDK 2011 by visiting http://ndkdenver.org/ I have 100′s of images to post, so I will likely post the bulk of them on my shaneOphoto facebook pagehttp://www.facebook.com/pages/Denver-CO/shaneOphoto/1187344806314?ref=sgm#!/pages/Denver-CO/shaneOphoto/118747344806314?ref=ts

Colorado Springs Hot Air Balloon Festival

Sunday night I attended the Hot Air Balloon Festival’s Night Glow in Colorado Springs with several friends that came to visit for the Labor Day holiday. This is definitely a sight to see in person at least once in your life! It always attracts a huge crowd to Memorial Park and there is plenty of attractions, exhibits, and food to add to the festival. Here are just a few of the great images I captured at the event.
