ShaneOphoto had the opportunity to photograph Colorado Mom Laura after she was painted by by Mythica Von Griffyn. Laura traditionally does not like being in front of the lens, however, she made an exception after 7 therapeutic hours of body paint magic from Mythica. Tonight Colorado Model Amy Cavanaugh stopped by to participate in the body painting shoots that have become a stapel of my web site the last couple weeks. Today Mythica Von Griffyn and Spooky Dragon Teamed up today to paint 2 beautiful works of art out of Colorado twins DJ and MJ. I will wright more over the next couple days, but in the mean time here are the photo’s from the shoot. Let us know what you think by placing your comments here!
Today ShaneOphoto had the pleasure of capturing a practice body painting session by Denver Artist, Mythica Von Griffyn. I also had the pleasure or working with model Amanda who supplied Mythica with the amazing canvas on which Mythica painted her Coy Fish idea, which she plans to do for an upcoming body painting event this weekend. If you are interested in working with Mythica you can contact her via Facebook, or send me a message for her to me, and I will happily forward it on to her. Mythica paints for public events, as well as private sessions. Her general rate is $50/hr, or full body for $250. In late May, Shaneophoto had another opportunity to work with Denver Model Lindsey Malone. We had a great day where we photographed her on a background that represents her favorite NFL team the Denver Bronco’s, then started on a concept of hers that we simply title Summer. This will likely be an on going collaboration as we work our way through summer. I do want to send Lindsey a special thank you, as she has had to patiently wait on her images as I battled illness for a couple weeks. She is really a great model and a lot of fun to work with!
Despite the threat of bad weather over Denver, Emily Ryon still showed up for her debut with The Denver Photographer ShaneOphoto. Ryon, a hip-hop dancer in her high school has always had dreams of being a fitness model or a runway model. While today’s shoot did not lead her any closer to either of those directions, it was still an educational, and productive shoot that gave Ryon a hands on view into the world of modeling, and how to use camera presence. For her first shoot Ryon did extraordinarily well! If she keeps at it, she should reach her dream in no time! Here are a few of the images from our shoot.
