Friday Artist Mythica Von Griffyn branched out to do a practice on a Bridal Wedding Dress. Model Samara Spent nearly 9 hours getting painted having jewels applied, and then finally arrived in the Shane O Studio for for her debut shoot. Tonight I participated in the anual Valentines Zombie Crawl. We had a small turn out, but we had an extraordinarily awesome time! After being painted at the Tilted Kilt on the 16th Street Mall in Denver Colorado, we set to the 16th Street with signs offering FREE HUGS to passers by. The young padawan of Mythica Von Griffyn, Spooky Dragon, stopped by the studio Saturday to practice his newly found passion of body painting. Spook has only had a had a hand full of practice painting sessions pior to getting this opportunity to have 2 models of his own, Amy and Sherae. Both models were also new to the Shane O. Studio. ShaneOphoto had the opportunity to photograph Colorado Mom Laura after she was painted by by Mythica Von Griffyn. Laura traditionally does not like being in front of the lens, however, she made an exception after 7 therapeutic hours of body paint magic from Mythica. ShaneOphoto attends Denver Body Jam

Today I decided to take up an invite by local body painters Kate Geesman and Mythica Von Griffyn to attend a bi-weekly event in Denver called Body Jam. This event allows several of Denver’s body painters to get together in 1 venue with several models who all want to be the canvases for the artists. Then the event also has about a half dozen professional photographers on hand to capture the event. As for the artists that I followed at today event, Kate is just beginning in the world of Body Painting and painted a Mardi Gras Style mask on her model. Mythica a more Seasoned body painter combine the last 2 practice shoots of Koi Fish and placed it on 2 canvases as 1 image. i hope you enjoy these shots, and if you are interested in being painted by either artist you are welcome to let me know and I will happily deliver the messages to them.

I also had the pleasure or working with model Amanda who supplied Mythica with the amazing canvas on which Mythica painted her Coy Fish idea, which she plans to do for an upcoming body painting event this weekend.
